First-Year Student Course Selection Guidebook*: is designed to help entering first-year students prepare for their appointments with their advisors. In addition, it provides answers to many questions which new students have. The Guidebook is divided into 3 major sections: Steps to Making a Great Class Schedule, course descriptions for all the General Education courses, and sample first-year schedules for all the majors offered at the University.

GPA Calculator: is a calculator to determine what your current grade point average(GPA) is. You can also use it to predict how your GPA will be affected by different grades in a class. There are many courses of action that a student can take if they are having problems with their grades.

Important Terms for First-Year Students*:is a glossary of the common but sometimes confusing language used at the University. Use the glossary when you hear a term which doesn't make sense to you.
