Disappointed in any of your grades? Wonder what the grades mean?Wonder what you can do to fix things? Unsure what to do or where to go? Here are some answers:

See your instructor.
Your instructor can explain where you stand and what you need to do to improve.Your instructor will also be able to tell you whether or not the grade is salvageable.Don’t try to catch your instructor on the run.Visit your instructor’s office to set an appointment.

Visit the Academic Advising Center.

Advisors in the center will help you understand your current academic standing, will help you develop a game plan for improvement and will refer you to resources on campus.

Request support from the Office of Career and Counseling Services.

Get help from the Writing Center.

Tutors in the center can help with all kinds of paper writing.They can help you improve your proofreading, help you learn to identify your errors, and help you with all stages of developing a paper for any course.This resource is available to everyone, not just English majors.

The LASSI (Learning and Study Strategies Inventory).

LASSI is designed to help you identify your learning strengths and weaknesses. An online assessment test available to you through the Academic Advising Center, it takes about 20 minutes to complete. There are no right or wrong answers, and your results will remain confidential. Once you have completed the LASSI, academic advisors will review your results with you and show you how you can capitalize on your learning strengths and minimize your learning weaknesses.
